Hi there; I'm Gabe Monroe. I have B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Mississippi State University (MSU), both in Mechanical Engineering. My graduate research focused on thermal-to-electric conversion using oscillating heat pipes. I also taught two undergraduate classes while in graduate school. Over the course of my 8 years at MSU, I worked for several engineering companies either through the MSU Co-op program or as an individual contractor. After graduating, I joined the U.S. Army's Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) in Vicksburg, MS as a Research Mechanical Engineer focusing on the simulation and analysis of autonomous ground vehicles. I strive to be a life-long learner and enjoy sharing my love of STEM with others.
